There are two costs associated with building any website. Development and hosting. Development is of course the design and setup of your website. Hosting is what you pay to have a place for your website to live, so people can see it on the internet.
Pricing for these websites is as follows:
Development: $997
Hosting: $27 monthly or $297 annually
Hosting for the entire first year is FREE! So you will not have any hosting charges whatsoever for 12 months. Hosting is managed by my team, and it is much more comprehensive than what you will find elsewhere. Modern websites require regular software updates, database optimization, security and more. All of this is handled for you, so you don’t have to learn or worry about any of the technical concerns with maintaining a website. Additionally, we maintain multiple backups of your website for you, so if anything ever happens, your website can be easily restored within moments.
Why Don’t I Charge More?
I’m putting this section in, because I’ve been told by some clients (perhaps facetiously!) that I should charge more for this service, and as someone reading this page, there’s a 50/50 chance you haven’t worked with me before, and I want to make sure we’re on the same page. Yes, I could probably charge more for this, so why am I not? Here’s the thing…if you are a reader of Dangerous Tactics, you know that my primary focus is sales and marketing strategy. What if you want to move your website to a different web host in the future?
One of the big differences here is that your website is YOURS. In most cases, if you cancel service with a provider, you can lose your design, your content, your search rankings or all of the above. Not true when you work with me. Of course the entire first year of hosting is free, so there’s nothing to worry about there. But if you decide you want to move to a different web host (or perhaps you’re closing your business for whatever reason, and you no longer need your website), then it’s no problem. You’ll receive a downloadable copy of your entire website, so it can easily be moved wherever you like.
